Thanksgiving Desserts

Sweet potato? Pumpkin? Pie or cheesecake? Chances are, whatever you love to have for dessert at Thanksgiving, the historic Broad Street Market’s got you covered. Our vendors will be making traditional Thanksgiving desserts fresh from scratch so you don’t have to. While pre-ordering is not required in many cases, it is strongly encouraged to ensure you are getting exactly what you want for Thanksgiving. Below is a list of vendors who are currently taking pre-orders.

Fisher’s Deli and Bakery – Using family recipes, Fisher’s makes fresh from scratch pumpkin rolls, pies (sweet potato, pumpkin and apple), cakes, pumpkin tortes and cheesecakes. Homemade desserts and fruit trays are available for pre-ordering by calling 717-232-8522. Green Ridge Acres – Organic pumpkin rolls and pies (pumpkin, pecan, apple and sweet potato) are available for pre-order. If making your own sweets, Green Ridge has fresh organic fruits, vegetables, dairy items and pantry staples. To ‘a la mode’ your desserts, pick up some of Ruthy’s organic homemade from scratch vanilla ice cream. Lil’s Pretzels – Stop in to Lil’s or call 717-909-6904 to pre-order everything pumpkin—rolls, cookies, whoopie pies, cheesecake, cream cheese bars and cinnamon rolls. Everything at Lil’s is handmade from scratch—many items made using traditional family recipes. Lil’s Pretzels is open in the Brick Building on Thursdays and Fridays 7am-5pm and Saturdays 7am-4pm. Many Blessings (formerly known as Conestoga Cafe) – Pies (pumpkin, apple, pecan, etc.), cheesecakes (salted caramel apple, plain and more), cakes and sixteen different kinds of cookies are baked fresh daily. As a special for Thanksgiving, Mel’s mother and wife are making homemade pumpkin pies. To pre-order, call Mel at 717-636-2262. Raising the Bar, LLC – Through November 17, Raising the Bar is accepting pre-orders for handmade from scratch pies (apple—lattice or crumb crust, pumpkin, sweet potato and pecan). Order in-person or on-line and be sure to choose a date/time for pick up (11/23 or 11/24).
