Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Some would say that the side dishes are the best part of the Thanksgiving meal. There’s usually something for everybody regardless of their tastes, preferences and/or dietary restrictions. Preparing Thanksgiving sides can be as easy or as difficult as you like. Whether you’re making your side dishes from scratch or just interested in heating and eating, the Broad Street Market’s got everything you need to impress your guests.
Our Thanksgiving sides will include prepared dishes and easy homemade dishes we make ourselves with ingredients we get from the Market.
• Our stuffing (Filling? Dressing?) will be made easy with a bag of fresh bread cubes from Fisher’s Deli and Bakery to which we’ll add fresh herbs from Green Ridge Acres and vegetables from Peach Ridge Produce that will be sautéed.
• Melissa from Veg Out recommended an easy two ingredient salad just by combining grated beets and apples.
• Veg Out’s locally grown fresh carrots, pink potatoes and Chinese broccoli will be drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkled with salt and pepper and roasted (oven temperatures and cooking times will vary).
• We cannot resist Two Brothers BBQ’s broccoli and cheese sauce and rice pilaf, especially since all we have to do is heat and serve.
• Since there can never be enough carbs on the Thanksgiving table, we’ll grab fresh rolls from Many Blessings.
