The Broad Street Market Alliance (“Market”) announced today that three vendors have been selected to round out the 16 vendor spaces in the new structure across from the Stone Building. The following vendors will join seven others (Doggie Delights, Fisher’s Delights, Lil’s Pretzels, Peachridge Produce, rijuice, Shawarma & Falafel, and Two Brothers BBQ) displaced by last July’s fire:
Cherished Treasures, a local chocolatier with a dedicated clientele;
Diaspora, growers of fresh produce and beautiful planted flowers; and,
Taylor Chip, the popular maker of “delightfully perfect” cookies, coffee, and ice cream.
“The Broad Street Market is thrilled to welcome these three new vendors to the Market community, each of whom brings with them a diverse array of products with a loyal following,” said Eric Hagarty, Chair of the Market. “We are excited for their existing customers to have greater access to their products and for others to have the opportunity to join their legions of fans.”
The Market received many applications to operate in the new structure, and the selection process was highly competitive. Applicants who were not selected during this round will have the opportunity to be considered for future permanent positions with the Market, as well as for upcoming opportunities to serve as pop-up vendors.
