6 Things You Need This Holiday Season

It’s the Holiday Season!

And we are stoked for you to visit us during this time of holiday cheer and joy! No matter the reason you are celebrating, we can’t wait to see you.

While you are milling among our vendors, grabbing some grub, and having a drink with friends, make sure you get the opportunity to check out some of these seasonal specials. These are six things you do NOT want to miss this season at Broad Street Market!

  1. Holiday Sweet Treats (Sweet 717)

Your local candy confections dealer has a plethora of seasonal goodies to help you embrace your sweet tooth! They have crafted chocolate grahams, peppermint fluff, peppermint nonpareils, fluffs to put in your hot chocolate, and so much more! Stop by Sweet 717’s stand near the Stone Building’s entrance to purchase a jar of sweets (or five!) to use as stocking stuffers this Christmas! You can find a treat for everyone to enjoy.

  1. Lucky Bamboo (Ying’s Custom Jewelry)

Our friend, Ying, has just the thing to usher you into the New Year with good vibes and great expectations: lucky bamboo! Lucky bamboo stalks have been a staple of East Asian culture for 5,000 years, and are said to bring health, love, and luck to whoever possesses them. Who couldn’t use those three things this winter? The Market sure could! Ying tells us that this makes the perfect Christmas present, housewarming gift, and New Year’s affirmation!

  1. Potion Bottles (Goblin Alchemy)

Double, double, toil, and trouble! Get ready for Christmas with this spooky flare! Goblin Alchemy’s potion-sized mead bottles are the perfect stocking stuffer or White Elephant gift . One or two of these is sure to liven up any party. But hurry, they are selling out fast! Their signature flavor and namesake, Goblin Alchemy, is in massive demand, closely followed by their second best seller: Siren Song. Stop by their stand in the Stone Building this week or purchase online!

  1. Hanukkah Smoked Salmon (JB Kelly Seafood)

While others have been dreaming of sugarplum fairies, maybe you have been dreaming of Bubbe’s latkes topped with some smoked salmon. Don’t worry, JB Kelly’s got you covered! It just wouldn’t feel like Hanukkah without those classic fish flavors to fill up your holiday plate. If you aren’t in the mood for salmon, no problem, they have plenty of other seafood cuisine that is already making our mouths water! Stop by soon for your catch!

  1. Pumpkin Soup (Marie’s Kitchen)

What is more cozy than a big bowl of pumpkin-spiced soup? Mama Marie from Marie’s Kitchen will be serving up some love-filled ladles of her special pumpkin soup that is sure to keep you warm this winter. Want to have it for more than one day? No problem, you can buy as many servings as you need, or even have it catered for an event!

  1. Newest Broad Street Winter Merch

You’ve seen our totes and tees, but you haven’t seen our NEWEST goodies! You can purchase candles from Broad Street’s Merchandise stand! With it’s smoky Vanilla smell with notes of grapefruit, clove, and sandalwood, Santa may be enticed to come down the chimney a little early this year. Buy one for you, your friends, family, and for the “Big Guy”.

Not only do we have candles, but we have Broad Street Market buttons that you can wear as a pin, or add to the carefully procured collection on your backpack or satchel! They are large, so wear them loud and proud!

We hope that each of these six specials gives you a reason to visit us this holiday season. Another opportunity to have fun and spread some holiday cheer to our vendors and greater community is coming up next week!

Join us at Broad Street for a festive Christmas at the Market! Experience the magic of the holiday season with our wonderful vendors, a tree lighting ceremony, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Mark your calendars for December 15th and 16th!
