Sara and Doug Taylor began crafting cookies during their date nights in 2015, aiming to create a preservative-free, better-for-you alternative that retained the desirable density of traditional shortening-based cookies. After perfecting their recipe just in time for their wedding, they launched Taylorchip.com, originally their wedding site, where they featured their cookies as wedding favors. This sparked interest and soon led to customer orders both locally and nationwide. Five years later, Taylor Chip now is the go-to local dessert experience offering their delightfully perfect cookies, artisan drinks & espresso, and soon, ice cream.
